Yummy Nasturtium Blossoms
Many plants are beyond inedible, to the point of being poisonous. Others, however, can be eaten—and can be made into quite delicious meals. Take the nasturtium, for example. This wide, hibiscus-like flower makes an oil similar to that of the watercress, and its peppery flavor is very tasty when used in salads. Pickled nasturtiums, stir frys made with the flowers, and many other popular foods can be made with nasturtiums. They are also a popular garnish.
